Astradyne

Astradyne is a private Italian startup founded in 2021 and headquartered in Bari, Italy, developing deployable structures for the aerospace sector. Its core technology, FRET (Flexible, Reinforced, Electronics with Textile), reinforces flexible printed circuit boards with textile material to enable deployable systems. The company's first product, SolarCube, is an origami-inspired solar panel with a stowed-to-deployed surface ratio of 1:50, targeting small satellites. Astradyne has raised approximately $3.4M and plans to expand its FRET technology to other deployable structures such as antennas and habitation modules.
