Solstar

Solstar Space Company, founded in 2017 and headquartered in Santa Fe, New Mexico, develops communications infrastructure that connects spacecraft, space stations, and astronauts to the internet and cloud services. The company demonstrated the first commercial WiFi hotspot in space and holds a Space Act Agreement with NASA to test internet, voice, and WiFi technologies in space. Solstar has received a U.S. Air Force contract and a U.S. Space Force Phase I SBIR contract, and has raised approximately $4.82M including grants and investment from backers such as Capital Factory and WeFunder.
