ABOUT

Absolut Sensing is a Toulouse-based French startup founded in 2021 that develops miniaturized cooled hyperspectral instruments for Earth observation nanosatellites. The company is building the GESat constellation to provide accurate methane and greenhouse gas emissions data to regulators and companies worldwide. It selected NanoAvionics to build a demonstration satellite (GEN1) on a 16U nanosatellite bus, and has participated in events including a G7 Methane Action event and the GEO Symposium 2026.
