LEO satellite relay constellation providing universal, always-on inter-satellite connectivity
Apolink is a Palo Alto-based startup, founded in 2024 and formerly known as Bifrost Orbital, building a 32-satellite constellation to eliminate orbital dead zones for LEO satellites. The network combines optical and radio inter-satellite links to target 99% uptime and 10–15 seconds of latency for Earth observation, communications, and spatial data customers. The company raised a $4.3 million seed round backed by Y Combinator and others at a $45 million post-money valuation, and is planning a 3U demonstrator mission in 2026 ahead of full commercial rollout by 2029.
