Based in Tokyo, Japan, it was founded in 2018 by Kota Kakihara, Takayoshi Fukuyo, and Toshihiro Shibukawa. It is led by CEO Takayoshi Fukuyo. It operates as a vertically integrated business spanning much of the space value chain. Its lineup includes the 6U Multi-Purpose Satellite Bus and VDES Satellite Constellation components and the Maritime Communication and Ocean Observation and Non-Terrestrial Network services.
