Benchmark Space Systems designs and manufactures in-space propulsion systems spanning chemical, electric, and hybrid architectures. Founded in 2017 in Burlington, Vermont, the company provides turn-key propulsion products for spacecraft from 3U cubesats to ESPA-class orbital transfer vehicles. Its chemical propulsion line includes Halcyon high-test peroxide and ASCENT-fueled thrusters with flight heritage. Benchmark also offers integrated solutions including the High-Energy Logistics Stage for rapid payload transfer beyond LEO, the Aquila hybrid kickstage, and RIPCORD, an attachable propulsion system for debris remediation developed with Astroscale.
