Space tug developer building reusable in-space propulsion systems for satellite repositioning
Epic Aerospace, founded in 2017 and headquartered across Buenos Aires, Montevideo, and Florida, is developing reusable space tugs designed to reposition satellites between orbits, including LEO-to-GEO transfers. The company produces propulsion systems including a 900N apogee thruster using 95% HTP and kerosene, a cold-gas reaction control system, and supplies high-test peroxide propellant. Epic Aerospace has conducted over 150 engine tests of its Tromen engine and received a component order from GomSpace. The company participated in Y Combinator's program and has received seed funding.
