Eutelsat OneWeb is a Paris-based subsidiary of the Eutelsat Group providing broadband internet services via a low Earth orbit satellite constellation of more than 600 satellites. Founded in 2012 as WorldVu by Greg Wyler, the company launched its first satellites in 2019 and completed global coverage in March 2023. OneWeb merged with Eutelsat in September 2023 to form the only operator combining both geostationary and LEO satellite fleets. The company co-owns satellite manufacturing facilities through Airbus OneWeb Satellites, a joint venture with Airbus Defence and Space.
