Gilmour Space develops the Eris hybrid-propellant orbital launch vehicle, the ElaraSat small satellite platform, and operates the Bowen Orbital Spaceport in North Queensland — the first spaceport in Australia licensed for orbital launch operations. The company serves commercial, government, and defence customers seeking dedicated or rideshare launches to low Earth orbit. Founded by brothers Adam and James Gilmour, it manufactures rockets and satellites at its Gold Coast headquarters and has conducted test flights of the Eris vehicle, including the Eris TestFlight1 campaign. The integrated approach — combining launch vehicle, satellite bus, and spaceport under one operator — is intended to give customers flexible, Australia-based access to orbit without depending on foreign launch providers.
