Its architecture uses microservices, the gRPC protocol, and containerized edge devices to route data directly to cloud environments, allowing operators to schedule communication windows without maintaining proprietary hardware. Founded in 2016, the company is headquartered in Tokyo with offices in the United Kingdom and the United States. Infostellar serves commercial Earth observation firms, small-satellite operators, and government agencies including JAXA and the European Space Agency.
