Innospace
Hybrid rocket-powered small satellite launch vehicles delivering low-cost, customized rapid access to sun-synchronous and low Earth orbit
Innospace is a South Korean aerospace company developing the HANBIT family of small satellite launch vehicles using proprietary hybrid rocket propulsion. The company's engines combine paraffin wax fuel with liquid oxygen, offering a safer and more cost-effective alternative to traditional propellants. The HANBIT lineup spans four vehicle classes: the suborbital HANBIT-TLV, which completed South Korea's first private-sector space launch from Brazil in March 2023; the two-stage HANBIT-Nano (50-90 kg to SSO); the upgraded HANBIT-Micro (170 kg to SSO); and the three-stage HANBIT-Mini (1,300 kg to SSO). The company went public on KOSDAQ in July 2024 and maintains offices in South Korea, Brazil, France, and the UAE.
