Develops autonomous reentry capsules for on-demand cargo delivery from orbit to anywhere on Earth in under an hour

ABOUT

Inversion Space designs, manufactures, and operates autonomous reentry vehicles for rapid cargo delivery from low Earth orbit. The company's flagship product, Arc, is a space-based delivery capsule capable of precision landing anywhere on Earth in under an hour. Arc spacecraft are designed for multi-year orbital storage, forming pre-positioned constellations that function as an on-demand logistics network. The vehicle also serves as a hypersonic test platform, replicating threat trajectories at realistic speeds for defense applications.

Inversion's first spacecraft, Ray, launched in January 2025 aboard SpaceX's Transporter-12 mission and validated key subsystems for the Arc program. Ray was developed in-house by a 25-person team for under $1 million. The company holds an FAA spacecraft reentry license and has secured a $71 million contract from the U.S. Space Force through SpaceWERX, along with selection for the $1.45 billion MACH-TB 2.0 hypersonic test program via Kratos Defense. Founded in 2021 by Justin Fiaschetti and Austin Briggs, both former propulsion engineers, Inversion operates from facilities in the Los Angeles area.
