MèreMer (also associated with Raceix) is an Irish technology company operating at the intersection of fintech and climate technology, headquartered at Ludgate Hub in Skibbereen, County Cork. The company uses machine learning and deep learning applied to earth observation and remote sensing data for measuring and monitoring ecosystem dynamics, carbon calculation, and environmental change detection. MèreMer is supported by the European Space Agency through its Space Solutions Centre Ireland and was announced as a founding contributing partner to the Open-Source Sustainable Finance Taxonomy (OS-SFT) in October 2022. Raceix, the associated marine technology company founded in 2017, developed powered boats for pleasure-boating and has been linked to a carbon offsetting initiative under the MèreMer brand.
