NanoPyro is a Belgian spin-off of the Royal Military Academy, founded in February 2023 by Laurent Desmaret and Romuald Van Riet. The company develops and produces nanotechnology-based energetic materials using its patented CNX (Composite NanoeXplosive) technology, which is based on nanoporous carbons. It serves the defence, civil, and space industries, covering activities from R&D through to industrialization.
