CSIC spin-off fabricating ligand-free nanoparticles and nanostructured coatings for aerospace, energy, and nanomedicine
Founded in 2020 and based at the Madrid Science Park, Nanostine is a spin-off of Spain's CSIC that researches, develops, and commercializes high-purity nanoparticles and nanostructured coatings. The company uses an ultra-high vacuum process to produce ligand-free nanoparticles with controlled size and composition, without generating toxic by-products. Target application areas include aerospace, energy storage, and nanomedicine such as drug delivery and imaging.
