NBTech AB, operating as Norbite and headquartered in Järfälla, Sweden, develops an insect-based biorefinery system that converts plastic waste into nutritious food ingredients intended for space missions and terrestrial use. The company was incubated at ESA BIC Sweden from 2021 to 2023 and has collaborated with institutions including Chalmers University and Stockholm School of Economics. Norbite received recognition including a Deep Tech Pioneers Award from Hello Tomorrow and a Role Model award from Nordic Women in Tech Awards.
