NEC-TWT

NEC Space Technologies Ltd. is a Tokyo-based, wholly owned subsidiary of NEC Corporation, formed in 2001 as a joint venture between NEC and Toshiba under the name NEC TOSHIBA Space Systems Ltd. NEC acquired all shares from Toshiba in March 2015, after which the company was renamed and became a wholly owned NEC subsidiary. The company handles design, assembly, and testing of sensors and other on-board equipment for satellites and rockets, and produces products including traveling-wave tubes, GaN solid-state power amplifiers, GPS receivers, and telemetry and command systems.
