NEW FRONTIER AEROSPACE
OPERATING
Developing LNG-powered hypersonic VTOL aircraft and orbit transfer spacecraft for civil, commercial, and defense markets
New Frontier Aerospace, founded in 2020 and based in Seattle, Washington, builds propulsion systems and vehicles including the Mjölnir rocket engine and the Bifröst orbit transfer spacecraft, selected by SpaceWERX for development. The company is also advancing a renewably fueled hypersonic VTOL aircraft intended to transport passengers and cargo anywhere on Earth in two hours or less, and has signed a CRADA with the Air Force Institute of Technology to support that effort. New Frontier Aerospace has raised a seed round from Pacific Bays Capital and has entered into a cooperative agreement with Qosmosys.
