Chinese commercial RF spectrum monitoring satellite constellation operated by Ningxia Jingui Information Technology
The Ningxin-1 satellites, also known as Zhongzi, are a series of Chinese commercial remote sensing satellites owned by Ningxia Jingui Information Technology Co. Ltd. and built by DFH Satellite Co. Ltd of CAST. The constellation is reported to operate as a global electromagnetic spectrum signal monitoring (SIGINT) system in low Earth orbit. Five satellites were launched in November 2019 aboard a CZ-6 rocket, with five more launched in July 2021 from Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center.
