OHB COSMOS

OHB COSMOS International Launch Services GmbH, based in Bremen, arranges dedicated and rideshare launches for satellites built across the OHB group's manufacturing subsidiaries in Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, and Sweden. The company also sells spare capacity on those launches to outside satellite operators and manufacturers, handling the technical integration work—including custom adapters, deployers, dispensers, and fairing modifications. Founded in 1995 as COSMOS International Satellitenstart GmbH to serve OHB System's early satellite programs, it built its reputation on nine institutional and commercial missions using the Russian COSMOS-3M rocket, most notably five launches of the German SAR-Lupe reconnaissance satellite constellation from Plesetsk and Kapustin Yar. It has since evolved into a launch broker working with providers such as Arianespace, SpaceX, and ISRO, with spaceport experience spanning sites in Russia, India, China, French Guiana, and the United States.
