OHB Italia

OHB Italia S.p.A., founded in 1981 and headquartered in Milan, is one of the two major satellite system integrators in Italy and part of the European OHB SE group. The company is a recognized leader in satellites and missions, Earth observation, space situational awareness, and scientific and planetary instruments, acting as prime contractor for ASI and ESA missions. With over 350 employees and facilities including ISO 5–8 clean rooms exceeding 1,000 square meters, it reported revenues of EUR 172 million and a backlog of EUR 412 million in 2024, with around 70 satellites, payloads, and instruments flown or in orbit.
