Mongolia's first commercial CubeSat operator building a LEO nanosatellite constellation for IoT and M2M connectivity
ONDO Space, founded in 2022 and headquartered in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, is the country's first private space technology company. It launched Mongolia's first commercial satellites aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 in March 2024 and currently has 12 CubeSats in orbit, with plans to expand to a 176-satellite constellation by 2027. The company targets IoT, M2M, and remote connectivity use cases, including livestock tracking for nomadic herders, and has signed MOUs with ispace and New Space Intelligence for lunar program collaboration and integrated space data services.
