Orbint

Orbint GmbH is a 2025 spin-off from the SeRANIS project at the University of the Bundeswehr Munich, headquartered in Neubiberg, Germany. The company designs and operates distributed LEO satellite networks that detect, identify, and geolocate RF emitters in near real time, with onboard data processing and coverage from UHF through Ka-band including oceanic and polar regions. Rohde & Schwarz has acquired a stake in Orbint to expand its electromagnetic spectrum reconnaissance portfolio into space, and Orbint is the 100th member of the BDI NewSpace Initiative.
