ORiS

ORiS is an Italian space startup developing laser-based wireless energy transmission technology for use in orbit and on the Moon. The company has conducted ground tests including a 102-meter wireless energy transmission demonstration with its LOONA-2 system, and is participating in DCUBED's ARAQYS-D3 mission to demonstrate laser power beaming in orbit. ORiS has signed a commercial MoU with Telespazio Germany for in-orbit servicing, been recognized as a NATO DIANA innovator, and joined accelerator programs including the Creative Destruction Lab Space Stream and Thales Alenia Space's Space Business Catalyst.
