Founded in 2016 and headquartered in Lausanne, Switzerland, Picterra is an EPFL spin-off offering a cloud-native geospatial AI platform that transforms satellite, aerial, and drone imagery into actionable insights for environmental monitoring, compliance, and supply chain risk detection. The platform allows users to build, train, and deploy custom deep learning models without coding expertise. Customers include British American Tobacco, DEFRA, Walter Matter, and The Nature Conservancy, and the company has raised approximately $10M in total funding.
