PlaneWave Instruments, founded in 2006 and headquartered in Adrian, Michigan, designs and manufactures turn-key telescope systems for astronomical research, astrophotography, and defense applications. The company operates a 57-acre campus and produces all products in the USA. In February 2025, PlaneWave Instruments merged with OurSky to form Observable Space, combining telescope hardware with a software developer platform for space observation applications.
