K/Ka-band beamsteering SATCOM antenna developer for mobile terminals on land, sea, and air
Founded in December 2022 as a spin-off of the CNRS-affiliated IETR laboratory in Rennes, Planexus develops K/Ka-band array antennas for satellite communications terminals on the move (SOTM), targeting LEO, MEO, and GEO constellations. Its flagship CTS Array Antenna uses a shared aperture for both Tx and Rx links and supports hybrid beam scanning across aeronautical, maritime, railway, and land vehicle applications. The company is an i-Lab 2022 winner and an incubatee of the ESA BIC Nord France program, with industrial contracts including work with Thales and projects with CNES, ESA, and the French Defense Agency.
