Protolaunch

Founded in 2019 and based at the Westcott Space Cluster in Buckinghamshire, Protolaunch develops and tests in-space propulsion systems for commercial and space agency customers. The company operates an E-Site Propulsion and Rocket Engine Test Facility at Westcott Venture Park and manufactures fast-acting throttling control valves designed for micro-launcher and lander applications. Protolaunch is also developing its FOx-1 thruster, which uses water electrolysis and targets the in-space servicing, assembly, and manufacturing market.
