Saudi spacetech building SAR small satellites and delivering AI-driven Earth Observation data and analytics
SARsatX is a Saudi Arabia-based space technology company, founded in 2019 as a spin-off from KAUST's TAQADAM Accelerator, that designs and builds small satellites equipped with Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) to deliver near-real-time Earth Observation data. The company's EarthLife platform provides geospatial analytics serving sectors including energy, defense, maritime, agriculture, and infrastructure. In May 2025, SARsatX raised a $2.6 million Seed round led by TONOMUS, with participation from Wa'ed Ventures, Access Bridge Ventures, and KAUST Innovation Ventures.
