Patent-pending beam-tracking and flat-panel antennas for NGSO satellite connectivity
Satraka Ltd, founded in 2022 and based at the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory in Didcot, UK, develops patent-pending tracking and flat-panel antennas for user terminals connecting to non-geostationary orbit (NGSO) satellites. The company targets both fixed and mobile platforms with low-SWaP, network-agnostic antenna designs aimed at reducing cost barriers for broadband connectivity. Satraka has received funding from the UK Space Agency's Space Ecosystem Commercialisation Programme to develop a compact dual-band feed system combining Ku and K/Ka frequency bands.
