Ruggedised marine GNSS tracker and diver tracking system developer based at Harwell Space Cluster
Sci-Tech (POB) Ltd is a UK SME incorporated in 2008 and based at the ESA Business Incubation Centre at Harwell, Oxford. The company was formed following its founders' triple win at the 2008 European Satellite Navigation Competition (Galileo Masters), with a concept for a Man Overboard tracking product for the leisure boating market. It has since developed a ruggedised marine tracker and a diver tracking and alert system, and provides consultancy in GNSS-enabled tracking for harsh and maritime environments. A prototype diver tracking system has been developed with ESA grant support, with further development on hold pending investor funding.
