SES global division formed by merging SES Americom and SES New Skies, absorbed into SES in 2011
SES World Skies was a short-lived global division of SES created through the combination of SES subsidiaries SES Americom and SES New Skies. At its peak it operated a fleet of 25 satellites delivering television distribution, internet access, data transmission, and business and government communications worldwide. The division maintained offices in Princeton, The Hague, Washington D.C., Singapore, and other locations before being merged back into its parent company SES in 2011.
