Montreal-based maker of broadband satellite ground equipment for GEO and NGSO networks
SpaceBridge designs and manufactures satellite network equipment, including VSAT hubs and terminals, SCPC modems, and broadcast modems for operators running GEO and NGSO constellations. Its current flagship platform, ESTELLA, is built on DVB-RCS2 standards and supports dynamic resource allocation, quality-of-service management, and secure communications for applications such as cellular backhaul, industrial IoT, and defense networks. The company was founded in 1988 by David Gelerman as Advantech Wireless and later rebranded as SpaceBridge Inc. It operates from its Montreal headquarters alongside offshore R&D centers and regional offices across Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and Indonesia.
