Stara completed its NOOR-1 pathfinder mission in December 2019, deploying two PocketQube-class satellites aboard a Rocket Lab Electron launch vehicle to demonstrate LEO-to-LEO inter-satellite links, encrypted communication, and integration with ground station software. The company maintains offices in Manhattan Beach, California; Vancouver, Washington; and Miami Beach, Florida. Its team includes veterans from SpaceX, Spire, and Hyperloop One.
