Founded in 2016 and headquartered in Boston, Tomorrow.io develops weather intelligence software and runs its own satellite program to address what it sees as a fundamental gap in global atmospheric coverage. The core products include a weather intelligence platform, a weather API, and data feeds aimed at industries from aviation and logistics to construction and government agencies. On the hardware side, the company operates a constellation of microwave sounder satellites under its DeepSky initiative, designed to supply atmospheric data over regions that conventional ground-based radar does not reach—an area it estimates affects more than five billion people. That satellite-collected data feeds back into the company's AI forecasting models, which are also available to government agencies and commercial operators through a data catalog. The company was previously known under the ClimaCell brand before rebranding as Tomorrow.io, and maintains an office in Tel Aviv in addition to its Boston headquarters.
