Space Forge
Manufactures advanced semiconductor materials and alloys in microgravity using reusable, returnable satellite platforms for return to Earth
Provides suborbital launch services and hypersonic flight testing from Spaceport America using reusable sounding rockets
UP Aerospace designs, manufactures, and operates suborbital sounding rockets for payload launch, microgravity research, and hypersonic flight testing. Founded in 2004 and headquartered in Highlands Ranch, Colorado, the company conducts launch operations from Spaceport America in New Mexico. Its primary vehicle, the SpaceLoft, is a reusable solid-fuel sounding rocket that carries payloads of up to 36 kg to altitudes of 120 km. In 2025, UP Aerospace successfully flew the maiden mission of its Spyder rocket, a larger sounding rocket capable of reaching 400 km altitude and speeds exceeding Mach 10, designed for hypersonic testing and extended microgravity missions.
