Zaitra

Founded in 2020 and based in Brno, Czech Republic, Zaitra develops onboard data processing solutions for optical Earth observation missions, including the SKAISEN object detection software (proven in space 2024), SKAIDOCK data processing unit (proven in space 2025), and SKAIPACK image compression suite. The company closed a pre-seed round of approximately 1.7 million euros in October 2024, with investors including Sunfish Partners, Czech Founders VC, ESA, and the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic. Zaitra has delivered onboard AI solutions for missions including a Czech defense satellite and has signed partnerships with Xiphos and Zeabuz.
