Government space agency under the Department of Space, operating one of the world's largest fleets of communication satellites (INSAT/GSAT) and remote sensing satellites (IRS). Develops and operates the PSLV, GSLV, and LVM3 launch vehicle families from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota, providing domestic and international launch services. Operates major research centers across India including VSSC, LPSC, SAC, URSC, and NRSC.
