Leaf Space operates a globally distributed network of ground stations providing telemetry, tracking, command, and high-speed data downlink services for satellite operators across low Earth orbit, medium Earth orbit, geostationary orbit, and cislunar space. The company's cloud-based platform automates antenna scheduling and mission control through a REST API, eliminating manual coordination. Infrastructure includes 3.7-meter and 3.9-meter diameter antennas supporting S-band, X-band, and Ka-band communications. Strategically positioned antenna sites in Europe, North America, South America, and Asia Pacific maintain continuous orbital visibility. Headquarters are located in Lomazzo, Italy, with a US subsidiary supporting North American clients.

Leaf Space operates two primary service models: Leaf Line, a shared multi-tenant network offering pay-per-pass access through automated scheduling, and Leaf Key, a dedicated turnkey solution providing exclusive ground station deployment and operations for specific mission requirements. The company serves commercial small satellite and constellation operators, government agencies including NASA and the European Space Agency, and research institutions. Founded in 2014 as a spinoff from Politecnico di Milano, Leaf Space completed a €20 million Series B funding round in 2023–2024 to expand network coverage and develop optical communications and cislunar ground segment capabilities.
