Leaf Space
Operates 40+ owned ground stations across 19 locations, providing satellite TT&C and payload data downlink through automated cloud-based scheduling
Leaf Space operates a globally distributed network of more than 40 owned ground stations across 19 locations, providing ground-segment-as-a-service for satellite operators. The cloud-based platform automates antenna scheduling through a patent-pending algorithm and RESTful API, supporting UHF, S, X, and Ka frequency bands with software-defined radio technology. The network processes over 24,000 monthly communication passes at a 99%+ success rate, serving more than 140 satellites.
Four service lines address different operational profiles: Leaf Line provides shared multi-tenant access with pay-per-minute pricing for TT&C and payload data, Leaf Key offers dedicated ground station deployments for constellation operators and institutional missions, Leaf Hosting provides site infrastructure for customers deploying their own RF or optical equipment, and Leaf Track delivers real-time telemetry reception for launch campaigns. Founded in 2014 as a spinoff from Politecnico di Milano, Leaf Space is headquartered in Milan with a US subsidiary in Lewes, Delaware.
