Kongsberg Satellite Services operates the world's largest commercial interconnected ground station network, comprising over 210 antennas across 29 strategic locations. SvalSat, located in Svalbard, is the world's largest commercial ground station and uniquely positioned to acquire data from every polar orbit pass. TrollSat in Antarctica provides complementary southern hemisphere coverage. The network supports S-band, X-band, Ka-band, and Ku-band frequencies, with integrated optical laser ground stations for high-bandwidth data transfer. KSAT delivers Ground Station as a Service through standardized platforms including KSATlite for small satellite constellations, KSAT Global for mission-critical operations, KSATtrolley for deployable solutions, and KSAT Lunar for cislunar and Moon-bound missions.

The company provides Earth observation services including maritime surveillance, vessel tracking, oil spill detection, and sea ice monitoring. KSAT operates a Satellite Operations Center providing spacecraft management and Launch and Early Orbit Phase support. The company serves NASA as part of the Near Space Network, supporting the Lunar Exploration Ground Segment through 2029, and provides ground services to ESA's Copernicus program, NOAA, and major commercial constellation operators including SpaceX and Planet.
