ATLAS Space Operations
Operates a cloud-native federated ground station network providing Ground Software as a Service for satellite telemetry, tracking, and command
ATLAS Space Operations provides Ground Software as a Service (GSaaS) through its Freedom software platform, enabling spacecraft operators to access a federated global network of over 50 antennas across 34 ground stations in more than 20 countries via a single API. The Freedom platform handles telemetry, tracking, and command operations, automated pass scheduling, and cloud-based data delivery. ATLAS offers launch and early orbit phase support and ATLAS in a Box, a portable RF compatibility testing system for pre-launch validation. Founded in 2015 and headquartered in Traverse City, Michigan, ATLAS was acquired by York Space Systems in 2025 and continues to operate under its own brand.
