Bremen startup developing large-scale Delta-3D printers and zero-gravity additive manufacturing for space applications
NebulaForm GmbH is a Bremen-based startup co-founded by Prof. Dr. Dr.-Ing. Yilmaz Uygun and Serkan Özkan from Constructor University, supported by ESA BIC Northern Germany since 2022. The company is developing what it describes as the world's largest Delta-3D printer, capable of producing components up to 3 meters tall, with plans to scale printing capacity to 24 cubic meters. NebulaForm is also working on a rotating-axis 3D printer designed to operate in zero-gravity conditions, with the stated goal of having technology ready for integration into lunar or planetary missions by 2027.
