Neo Space Group
Provides satellite communications, geospatial intelligence, and positioning services as Saudi Arabia's PIF-backed national space services company
About
Neo Space Group is a Saudi Arabian space services company established in 2024 by the Public Investment Fund as the Kingdom's national champion for the satellite and space sector. The company operates across four business lines: satellite communications, geospatial intelligence, positioning, navigation and timing, and a global space venture capital fund.
Its satellite communications division provides multi-orbit in-flight connectivity to airlines through the Skywaves traffic management platform and SkyFly passenger portal, delivering speeds up to 200 Mbps via SES's Open Orbits network across GEO, MEO, and LEO satellites. Key airline clients include Thai Airways, Turkish Airlines, Riyadh Air, and Uzbekistan Airways. The division was strengthened by the acquisition of Display Interactive, a French wireless IFEC company. The geospatial division, built through the acquisitions of TAQNIA ETS (now NSG Geospatial Services) and Airbus's UP42 Earth observation marketplace, delivers data analytics, mapping services, and the NeoMaps sovereign geospatial platform. Headquartered in Riyadh, NSG operates across seven countries with partners including Capella Space, BlackSky, Satellogic, and Planet.
