OIP Space Instruments, formally launched as a business unit in 2021 and drawing on OIP N.V.'s space experience since the 1980s, designs, develops, and produces customised electro-optical instruments for spaceborne applications including planetary observation, atmospheric analysis, and navigation. Its product portfolio covers spectrometers, satellite cameras, and scientific instrumentation. Recent contracts include ESA Earth Explorer mission study phases, the HIRTIS thermal infrared spectrometer, VenSpec-H, and thermal infrared telescopes for the HARMONY mission.
