Space-Fit Kft. develops whole-body electrical muscle stimulation garments designed specifically for astronaut rehabilitation after spaceflight. The suit uses dry electrodes and integrated biosensors, eliminating the need for water or conductive gel, and allows clinicians to build customizable treatment plans based on real-time physiological data. The technology targets the muscle and skeletal deterioration that microgravity causes, which conventional in-flight exercise routines cannot fully prevent. The team draws on more than a decade of experience designing and manufacturing medically certified EMS devices, and the garment is also intended for use during flight preparation and as a complementary training tool in orbit. Founded in 2022 and based in Kecskemét, Hungary, the company is an ESA BIC Hungary incubatee.
