Synspective
Develops and operates small SAR satellites and provides Earth observation data and analytics for disaster response, national security, and environmental monitoring
About
Synspective designs, builds, and operates a constellation of small Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) satellites called StriX, each weighing approximately 100 kilograms. Founded in 2018 and headquartered in Tokyo, the company originated from the Japanese government's ImPACT Program. Synspective's satellites capture high-resolution imagery at resolutions down to 25 centimeters, operating regardless of weather or time of day. The company offers SAR data sales and cloud-based analytics solutions including land displacement monitoring, flood damage assessment, offshore wind and wave measurement, forest inventory management, and object detection. Synspective plans to deploy 30 satellites by the late 2020s and listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange Growth Market in December 2024.
