Defending, servicing, and building space infrastructure with X-ray inspection, robotic toolkits, and autonomously assembled orbital platforms

ABOUT

ThinkOrbital develops space infrastructure technologies spanning defense, servicing, and construction in orbit. Its flagship product, ThinkX, provides space domain awareness through long-range X-ray imaging that can characterize the materials and internal components of satellites at distance. The ThinkToolkit is a robotic arm system for in-space servicing, assembly, and construction. ThinkOrbital's long-term vision centers on ThinkPlatforms, large pressurizable structures designed for autonomous assembly in orbit. Founded in 2021 and headquartered in Boulder, Colorado, the company launched its first spacecraft in May 2024, demonstrating autonomous welding in space for the first time.

PRODUCTS & SERVICES
Large-scale, pressurizable orbital structures designed for single-launch autonomous assembly, supporting manufacturing, storage, refueling, and research
Robotic arm and arm-agnostic end effector for in-space servicing, construction, welding, cutting, additive manufacturing, and proximity inspection
Long-range X-ray imaging and material characterization system for space domain awareness, enabling non-invasive inspection of satellite interiors from distance and in proximity
