Designs, builds, launches, and operates small satellites for Earth observation, telecommunications, navigation, and science missions
Operates a nanosatellite IoT network providing bidirectional, low-power satellite connectivity for remote asset tracking and monitoring across maritime, agriculture, and industrial sectors
Astrocast operates a low-Earth orbit nanosatellite constellation providing bidirectional IoT connectivity for remote and underserved regions worldwide. Founded in 2014 and headquartered near Lausanne, Switzerland, the company designs, assembles, and operates its own 3U cubesat-class satellites, with 18 currently in orbit. Astrocast holds commercial access to L-band spectrum through a strategic alliance with Thuraya, and developed the Astronode S module in partnership with Airbus and CEA/LETI, an ultra-low-power surface-mount device for IoT applications. The network serves industries including maritime shipping, agriculture, environmental monitoring, utilities, and mining.
