ABOUT

Kineis is a French satellite operator and global connectivity provider specializing in Internet of Things (IoT) and Automatic Identification System (AIS) services. Founded in 2018, the company inherited over 40 years of expertise from the ARGOS system. Kineis operates a constellation of 25 nanosatellites in low Earth orbit, fully deployed by March 2025 via five Rocket Lab Electron launches, providing global coverage including polar regions. The constellation delivers near-real-time data transmission for asset tracking, remote monitoring, and alerting across maritime, transport, energy, agriculture, and environmental sectors. The company also provides space-based AIS data for maritime vessel tracking through its KIN'AIS and KIN'TRUST63 products. Headquartered near Toulouse, Kineis raised €100 million in 2020 and commercially launched its IoT services in June 2025.
