About

Kongsberg NanoAvionics manufactures standardized nanosatellite and microsatellite buses and provides end-to-end mission integration services for commercial, government, and scientific customers. The company offers 21 standard satellite bus configurations spanning 3U to 16U CubeSats (M3P, M6P, M8P, M12P, M16P) and the MP42 microsatellite platform, which supports payloads up to 70 kg. Up to 80% of its standard buses are vertically integrated with in-house subsystems including flight computers, power distribution, communication systems, and chemical propulsion modules.

Beyond hardware, NanoAvionics provides mission design, satellite assembly and testing, launch brokerage, ground segment integration, and mission operations. The company has launched over 50 satellites with 300+ in its production backlog, serving 140+ customers across 35+ countries. Notable mission partners include NASA, ESA, OQ Technology, constellr, RIKEN, and SATLANTIS.

Founded in 2014 as a spin-off from Vilnius University following Lithuania's first satellite mission, the company was acquired by Kongsberg Defence and Aerospace in 2022. It operates manufacturing and engineering facilities in Vilnius, Kaunas, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
